Accounting Technician


We are looking for an Accounting Technician reporting to the Controller. The main tasks consist of:

  • Post purchase and expense invoices in the accounting system according to periods, after ensuring that the required authorizations have been obtained ;
  • Follow up with suppliers and area managers regarding unpaid invoices;
  • Make bank deposits and collect mail;
  • Pay suppliers by checks, electronic deposits;
  • Reconcile supplier statements;
  • Reconcile pre-authorized payments from suppliers;
  • Make cash receipts and provide customer service in connection with them;
  • Record invoices for parts purchases and warranty claims; Record invoices for the purchase of parts and warranty claims
  • Respond to customers for billing and statements ;
  • Ensure the management of customer accounts and the production of statements of account;
  • Creating description sheets for new and used machines;
  • Prepare and carry out the invoicing of rentals and overtime;
  • Research and process disputed rental invoices;
  • Process conversion calculations for leases with purchase options;
  • Responsible for assisting clients with their needs;
  • Various administrative follow-ups;
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and policies.
  • All other related tasks.

  • Have a College Studies Diploma or a Vocational Studies Diploma, and/or 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of customer service or heavy machinery, any experience or training related will be considered;
  •  Personality with a team spirit, a dynamic attitude, a sense of autonomy, a sense of organization and an ability to communicate
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical terms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of the KeyStone system (asset)
  • Bilingual spoken and written (French and English)
