Description

Member of the TERAPRO group, Longus | Case Construction specializes in the sale and repair of heavy machinery through its 4 branches serving Quebec. Recognized as a leader in its field, Longus has distinguished itself through its outstanding service and expertise in excavation and snow removal equipment through its CASE Construction product line.

Our branch located in Varennes is looking for two(2) heavy equipment mechanics.

Responsibilities

Without limitation, the primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Evaluating, diagnosing & repairing clients equipment or machinery;
  • Repairing, within required time periods, all models of heavy machinery according to established standards & procedures;
  • Performing maintenance on new and used equipment for sale, resale or demonstrations;
  • Producing all necessary documents required for performed tasks;
  • Maintaining upkeep of service vehicles, inventories, tools and equipment;
  • Develops and maintings positives customer relations;
  • Respecting the rules and policies relating to Health & Safety standards.

Skills

Profile 

  • Vocational diploma in heavy equipment mechanics (construction equipment, agricultural or heavy machinery or related sectors);
  • Experience in a similar position;
  • Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics & electrical systems;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues;
  • Independent, resourceful and disciplined.
