Description

TERAPRO Group, your soil professional, is a dealer of agricultural and construction machinery.  Its significant buying power and expertise make it a partner of choice for its customers. Terapro offers several points of service (18 branches) to better serve its customers by focusing on proximity through personalized management.

In the midst of a new phase of its development, the group is looking to hire a business technology solutions coordinator to lead its digital transformation program launched a year ago for its agricultural and construction sectors. 

This program includes major operational shifts that will be supported by a digital program featuring the implementation of several software programs including the evolution of their ERP, the introduction of a CRM, an e-commerce, a machinery inspection program and the integration of new business acquisitions. The coordinator will be responsible for efficiently and consistently integrating the processes of this strategic shift in the company.

Location of the position: Telecommuting with occasional travel

Responsibilities

Without limitation, the role of the business technology solutions coordinator includes the following duties:

  •  Define deliverables that support management's business objectives based on project scope and established objectives;
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools;
  • Coordinate all actions and mitigate risks to maintain schedule;
  •  Monitor and control delivery, including quality of deliverables;
  • Determine the frequency and content of project team progress reports, analyze results and resolve issues;
  •  Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management;
  • Contribute to the prioritization of work for the delivery team and delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate staff;
  •  Develop and present progress reports, proposals and requirements documents;
  • Manage relationship and coordinate work with external suppliers - publishers of various digital solutions;
  • Organize and facilitate meetings: workshops, project follow-ups, executive meetings, etc.

Skills

Profile

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent training;
  •  Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT project management role;
  •  PMP certification, (PMI or PRINCE2 would be an asset);
  • Bilingualism, written and spoken;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Strong knowledge of project management software (MS projects, MS Planner and Excel);
  • Proven experience in the deployment of IT solutions;
  • Ability to comply with varying priorities, demands and deadlines;
  • Ability to obtain cooperation and influence a wide variety of partners (employees, management);
  • Ability to convey ideas both orally and in writing.
