For its construction equipment dealer division in Quebec, Longus is looking to fill a position of Business Partner in Human Resources to guide its 5 branches.


The Human Resources Business Partner will work with the managers of 5 branches (Lévis, Sherbrooke, Laval, Varennes and Val-D'Or). The home office can be defined with the candidate.

Without being limited to this, the main responsibilities will be to:

  • Advise and support the management team in the following areas: training, compensation, organizational development, change management, application of regulations, staffing, disciplinary measures, etc;
  •  Act as a consultant and support managers in their management, mobilization and team development strategies;
  •  Actively participate in the improvement of HR processes: reception, workforce planning, employee manual, etc;
  • Perform reporting to the corporate HR department, as well as various administrative tasks.

  •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Labor Relations or Industrial Relations or other relevant training;
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as an HR generalist;
  • Ability to mobilize and influence;
  • Multi-site management;
  •    Managing multiple files simultaneously;
  •   Thoroughness in the files;
  •    Ability to travel regularly to different sites;
  •   Bilingualism (English/French), an asset
