THE CHALLENGES WE OFFER

Under the responsibility of the Sales Manager, we are seeking to fill the position of Inventory and Rental Equipment Coordinator at our Vars branch. The main tasks related to this post are:

  • Control, enter, and update the information concerning the units in inventory and rented, in the operating system (ie: availability and transfer of the units, location, description, and removal of various accessories);
  • Preparing the necessary documents needed for the import and export of equipment, as well as, tracking the progress until final destination is met;
  • Creation of descriptive index cards for the new and used machines;
  • Prepare and process the invoicing of the equipment rentals, as well as any extra charges;  
  • Make the searches and treat the litigious invoices concerning the rent;
  • Handle the conversion calculations for any rentals turned into purchases;
  • Assist the customers with their concerns;
  • Collaborate with the service department for the preparation and the return of the equipment;
  • As well as any other function and related duties in the service of rentals and invoicing.

Skills

APPLICANTS SHOULD FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE

  • Have a College Studies Diploma or a Vocational Studies Diploma, and/or 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of customer service or heavy machinery.  (Any experience or training related will be considered);
  • Good mechanical knowledge and/or experience in the construction equipment market will be an asset;
  • Multitasking and team spirit;
  • Good organizational and time management skills;
  • Concern of the detail, autonomous and management of the priorities
  • Positive and professional attitude;
  • Gook knowledge of the Microsoft Office program (Excel, Word);
  • Bilingual: spoken and written (French and English: the main part).
